The Book of Mormon play was great! ✨ Such good humour. The opening number got us laughing and the play just kept us laughing and smiling as the show went on. It had great characters (one of the main ones a very loveable outcast), was entertaining, joyful and can't help but be endearing.

You don't need to know about Mormonism going in, and please don't read anything about the play 'cause even the Wikipedia gist has spoilers. The only thing about it you should Google for is tickets.

At times it was a bit much but, it's written by the creators of South Park so, that's kind of what they do. My boyfriend and I had different views on which parts were a bit much—

 

Only bring kids if you guys usually have open-minded discussions, or if you're good at explaining the humour afterwards.

It's tamer than most South Park episodes though, so good news for those that can't stomach too much S.P. 👍👍
